This is some really great cosplay! You look just like a female version of that character, except of course that you have hair on your head. I have a quick question please, was it very difficult for you to make those red & green glasses with the different shaped lenses?
I would have never thought about doing that with a cheap pair of glasses, thank you for letting me know! Vertigo/DC comics had sold a licensed version of Spider's glasses with real frames fabricated into the rectangular & circular shapes a looong time ago (I recently found a European-based website that had them for sale at the cost of several hundred dollars) but it makes a lot more sense to create your own version instead.
One more quick question please, do you know if either Darick Robertson or Warren Ellis have seen pictures of your cosplay, or have you contacted them to share this image?
No problemo, and yeah i remember when i was looking online for them, i found the pair you're talking about and its ridiculously priced. Something like $200. No thanks lol. I'm not sure if Darick has seen my photos, but i believe Warren has. I have a buddy that's friends with him and she told me she passed my photos over. Hope he dug em.
You make an excellent Spider Jerusalem. I like the decision for the red hair, since it would be too much to go for the character's bald look, but I think you could pull that off just as well if you did .
thank you. I do have photos with a brown wig to tribute to Spiders original look, But i ended up looking like a hippie lol. I also had a bald cap originally and it turned out too weird. I'm glad people aren't pissed off with the change up.
